Create a translucent frosted finish on indoor glass to add privacy while allowing natural light to pass through. This water-based, low-odor kit is designed for approachable DIY updates to windows, glass doors, partitions, and other suitable interior glass surfaces.

Follow the preparation, application, drying, and care guidance below for a more consistent finish.

Clean and degrease the glass thoroughly, rinse with clean water, and dry it completely with a clean cloth. Smooth any rough spots, mask the areas that should remain uncoated, protect nearby surfaces, and work in a well-ventilated space at 60–90°F (15–32°C).

Stir the paint thoroughly for 2–3 minutes until it is uniform.
Apply with a brush, roller, or spray gun. A roller is recommended for a consistent finish.
Work from top to bottom with long, even strokes and apply at least two thin coats.
Allow 1.5–2 hours of drying time between coats.

Let the final coat dry for 1.5–2 hours. The coated glass is ready for light use after 24 hours and reaches full cure in approximately 7 days. Keep the finish dry and avoid cleaning or abrasion during the early cure period.

Designed for indoor glass projects such as windows, sliding doors, room dividers, glass cabinets, and bathroom privacy panels. Apply it to the interior side of residential windows. On shower doors, use the side with less direct water exposure. Not recommended for outdoor glass or food-contact and food-storage items.

Clean tools with water before the paint dries. After the coating has fully cured, clean it with mild detergent and a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners, scrubbers, harsh chemicals, and metal scrapers. Keep the workspace ventilated, wear appropriate protective equipment, and keep the product away from children and pets.
