Help Planning Your Floor Project

The new system guide is for interior concrete in residential settings, including garages, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Check the actual floor material and existing coating before ordering.

Do not use on wood, vinyl, flexible substrates or surfaces with active moisture problems. Tile, terrazzo, outdoor patios and industrial vehicle use are not established by this guide; confirm those projects with us first. A self-leveling finish still needs a sound, properly prepared floor.

The concrete must be structurally sound, clean, free of dust, oil, grease and sealers, and completely dry. Resolve moisture problems and repair unstable or damaged areas before coating. Do not use the finish as a substitute for structural repair or to fill deep depressions.

The system has two application stages. First mix primer Part A (resin) with Part B (hardener), blend thoroughly and apply evenly with the roller. Allow the primer to dry completely—about 8–10 hours under the guide’s reference conditions—before applying the quartz-filled finish. Do not skip the primer stage.

Primer: Part A resin + Part B hardener.
Finish coat: Part C resin + Part D hardener + Part E decorative quartz. Keep the stages separate.

Have cleaning and floor-repair supplies, masking materials, mixing equipment, a roller and suitable spreading tools ready before mixing. The guide identifies an included roller; check the supplied packing list for the complete tool set.

Measure the actual floor area and confirm kit quantity with us. The new guide does not specify kit weight, coverage or application thickness, so it does not support a room-size promise or an automatic kit calculation.

Stage 1: Mix A + B for the primer only. Apply and let it dry completely.

Stage 2: Mix C + D thoroughly, then gradually add E and mix until uniform. There should be no streaks, clumps or color variation. Spread the coating using the tools and method shown in the guide.

Never combine all five components together. Use each mixture immediately; do not reseal or store mixed material. The guide gives no numerical mixing ratio or working-time limit, so follow the component labels and confirm any missing directions before mixing. Do not reuse a ratio from a different epoxy system.

At approximately 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity, the guide lists:

Primer drying: 8–10 hours, and fully dry before the finish coat.
Light foot traffic: 24 hours after coating.
Light vehicle traffic: 3 days after coating.
Full cure: 7 days.

Actual timing depends on temperature, humidity, airflow and the surface. Apply at 60–85°F (16–29°C); avoid high humidity, condensation, expected water exposure and extreme temperature changes. Plan alternate access or parking while the floor cures.

After curing, clean with mild detergent and water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and metal scrapers.

Decorative quartz adds texture, but grip depends on the finish, footwear and moisture. Wet areas may need additional slip-resistant measures; texture alone is not a non-slip guarantee. Test a small, inconspicuous area before full application.

Use the protective equipment specified by the product labels and safety data sheet, and ventilate during application and curing. Keep children and pets out of the installation area while the system cures. The guide does not support immediate occupancy after application.
