Choose 2K Epoxy when your priority is a hard, high-gloss finish for a frequently used bathtub. Its two-part coating system is designed for bathroom surfaces that need strong adhesion, resistance to water stains, and everyday wear protection.

It's not a repair product for structural damage. Your surface must be sound, fully prepared, and allowed to complete its cure time for the best long-term result.

Yes. One full kit is designed for one standard bathtub. The pre-measured amount is intended for a one-pour application, so there is no need to calculate coverage or plan for multiple coats.

For best results, finish all surface preparation, masking, and setup before mixing. Once mixed, pour and spread the full kit evenly as directed.

This kit is designed for properly prepared porcelain, porcelain-enameled steel, cast iron, fiberglass, acrylic, sinks, tile, countertops, shower floors, and similar hard indoor bathroom surfaces.

Do not apply over active rust, loose enamel, peeling coatings, silicone caulk, moisture, or an unstable or unknown existing finish. If you are unsure about your surface, test a small inconspicuous area first.

Not by itself. Repair and stabilize damaged areas before refinishing. The coating can refresh a sound surface, but it cannot permanently repair deep structural cracks, active rust, severe corrosion, flexing, loose enamel, widespread peeling, or water damage beneath the surface.

Remove loose or failing material first. For severe corrosion, major cracking, or widespread failed reglazing, professional repair or replacement may be the better long-term option.

A durable finish starts with a clean, stable, completely dry surface. Before painting:

• Remove old silicone caulk and any loose or peeling coating.
• Clean away mold, soap film, oils, hard-water deposits, and cleaner residue.
• Repair and stabilize chips, cracks, rust, or other surface damage.
• Lightly sand glossy areas, then remove all sanding dust.
• Make sure the surface is fully dry before mixing and applying the coating.

Do not apply over moisture, silicone residue, active mold, or any loose or failing layer. These can lead to fisheyes, bubbling, or peeling.

The full kit is pre-measured, so you don't need to calculate a mixing ratio. Combine Part A and Part B exactly as directed, then mix thoroughly until the coating has a consistent color and texture.

Once mixed, you have approximately 40 minutes of working time. Complete cleaning, sanding, masking, and setup before mixing, and only prepare what you can apply within that window. Follow the instructions included with your current kit for the exact mixing method and any requirements for partial batches.

Under recommended conditions:

• Touch dry: approximately 4 hours
• Light use: 36–48 hours
• Full cure: approximately 7 days

Until fully cured, keep the surface dry and avoid water, cleaners, scrubbing, bath mats, and regular use. Cooler temperatures or higher humidity may extend cure time.
