- This high-performance penetrating sealer primer is designed for the pretreatment of new and old cementitious surfaces, both interior and exterior.
- Primary Function: To seal substrate pores, prevent efflorescence, and enhance adhesion for subsequent water-based floor coating systems.
- Ideal for: Creating a sealed, consolidated, and strong foundation for a variety of decorative and protective water-based topcoats.
- (Note: Compatibility and adhesion tests on small areas are advised prior to full-scale application.)
- Suitable for properly prepared, sound, and dry cementitious substrates, including:
- New Concrete Slabs
- Cement/Sand Screeds
- Old Concrete Floors
- Lightweight Concrete
- The substrate must be rough, solid, clean, dry, and free of contaminants (oil, grease, dust, laitance, loose particles, old incompatible coatings). For smooth or dense surfaces, mechanical abrasion (e.g., sanding with 30-60 grit sandpaper) is essential to open pores and ensure proper penetration.
- Personal Protection: This product may cause skin and eye irritation. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during handling and application, including chemical-resistant gloves and safety goggles. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area during application and drying to dissipate vapors and maintain air quality.
- No Dilution: Do NOT thin or dilute this product with water or any other solvents. It is ready-to-use as supplied.
- Environmental Conditions: Do NOT apply if substrate or ambient temperature is below 41°F (5°C) or above 85°F (30°C), or if relative humidity exceeds 80%. Ensure the substrate temperature is at least 5°F (3°C) above the dew point to prevent condensation and adhesion failure.
- Flammability: This product is water-based and contains no flash point. However, keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames during storage and use.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. If skin contact occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If ingested, do NOT induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show the product label or Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
