- This penetrating sealer is specifically engineered for the consolidation and hardening of concrete substrates.
- Primary Use: Consolidation treatment for dusty, sandy, or friable new or old concrete and cement screed floors.
- Surface Preparation: As a high-performance primer before applying epoxy, polyurethane, colored quartz, and other decorative or protective flooring systems.
- Substrate Strengthening: Ideal for industrial floors in workshops, warehouses, garages, and other high-traffic areas requiring a durable base.
- Suitable for interior concrete and cementitious substrates, including:
- New concrete slabs, Old concrete floors , Cement/sand screeds
- Critical Surface Preparation:
- Substrate must be sound, clean, and free of oil, grease, dust, and loose material.
- Moisture content should be below 10%.
- All cracks and voids must be pre-repaired with cement-based materials.
- For smooth surfaces, light mechanical scarification is required to ensure proper penetration.
- Refer to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling or use.
- Wear Protective Equipment: Causes skin and eye irritation. Always wear chemical-resistant gloves and safety goggles.
- Ensure Adequate Ventilation during application and drying.
- Strict Mixing & Pot Life: Dilute only with clean water at a 1:1 ratio by weight. Mixed material must be used within 30 minutes. Do not use other solvents.
- Observe Environmental Limits: Apply at temperatures between 41°F - 95°F (5°C - 35°C) and relative humidity below 80%. Ensure substrate temperature is at least 5°F (3°C) above the dew point.
- Allow Full Cure: Requires 7 days for full cure before applying topcoats or subjecting to heavy service.
- Store Properly: Keep in original sealed container in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost.
